Travis Barker is taking a trip down memory lane.
For his son Landon Barker’s milestone 21st birthday, the Blink-182 drummer shared a special Instagram tribute to his eldest son, writing on Oct. 9, “Happy Birthday @landonasherbarker . You blessed my world 21 years ago and I am forever grateful.”
Travis went on to gush about his musician son, posting a series of throwback photos from Landon’s childhood and adding, “So proud of the man you’ve become and everything you’ve set out to accomplish and did. You are the best son and brother anyone could ask for. I love you always and forever my boy and cherish every moment with you.”
He also shared photos and videos of the birthday boy’s special dinner out at Nobu, complete with a customized menu.
Landon also got some birthday love from his stepmother no comma Kourtney Kardashian, who posted a video of some birthday cupcakes to her Instagram Stories, writing, “21!!!!! Happpppyy birthday @landonasherbarker grateful for you. More Landon moments forever. I love you!”
In addition to Landon, Travis also shares daughter Alabama Barker, 18, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler and son Rocky Thirteen Barker, 11 months, with Kourtney. He also helped raise Shanna’s daughter Atiana De La Hoya, whose father is Oscar De La Hoya.
Travis’ heartwarming message comes shortly after he recently opened up about what he’d change when it came to his oldest kids’ upbringing.
Long before his marriage to Kourtney, who also shares kids Mason Disick, 14, Penelope Disick, 12, and Reign Disick, 9, with ex Scott Disick, the rocker appeared on his own reality show Meet the Barkers alongside Shanna. (Travis filed for divorce from Shanna in August 2006, five months after the series ended.)
And now that he and Kourtney have opted not to show their baby son Rocky’s face publicly, Travis wishes he would’ve done the same with his older children.
"If I could do everything different, I would have done the same thing with my [older] kids,” he told the Wall Street Journal in an interview published Sept. 23. "I think it’s weird to grow up and you’re 15 or 12, and you’re like, ‘Mom, you posted this of me?'"
